What you are setting up

Ringvora answers calls and website chat for one company. It only knows what you put in the knowledge base. It is not tied to one industry.

Plans and caps

Chat is $29 and has no phone line: 500 messages, hard stop at 750. Starter is $59: 30 minutes and 300 messages, hard stop at 60 minutes and 450 messages. Pro is $129: 300 minutes and 1,500 messages, hard stop at 600 minutes and 2,500 messages. Unlimited is $299 for one company under a fair-use ceiling. A card is not charged at signup. Chat is charged when you start that plan. A voice plan is charged when the line goes live. If the number cannot be bought, that charge is canceled and refunded.

The setup guide

Open Setup guide in the desk. Answer the questions in order. Skip one if you are not ready. On any question, Help me say this drafts wording from what you already typed. It does not save until you continue. You can also give the address of the company website. Ringvora reads that site and suggests answers only from what the pages say. Nothing is saved until you keep a suggestion. Check the notes looks for holes and contradictions. When you finish, the guide writes a knowledge base from your words. You can ask it to rewrite those notes into cleaner articles. If that rewrite does not connect, your original answers stay.

Hours, holidays, vacation, and days off

Open Hours. Set the timezone and the weekly open and close times, or mark a day closed. A closing time earlier than the opening time closes the next day: Friday 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM stays open until 2:00 AM Saturday. Opening and closing at the same time is not allowed. Add a holiday, a vacation with a first and last day, or one unexpected day off, plus the sentence the attendant may say. A dated closure closes that whole date, including the morning, so an overnight shift stops at midnight. A weekday marked closed does not start a shift, but the previous night can stay open into that morning. The desk shows whether you are open right now.

A menu, brochure, or price list

Open Files. Upload a text file, a CSV, or a PDF. Text we can read is added as a knowledge article. Read it and cut anything the attendant should not say. A photo is stored, but you type those prices into Knowledge yourself.

Numbers and porting

Open Numbers. Ask for a new local number with a three-digit area code, or save a port with the current number, the carrier, and the authorized name. Account number and PIN are optional. A port request does not buy a second number and does not move your calls. Save a card on Account first. Saving a card does not charge it. Turn the line on when you want a new number to go live. That is when the voice plan is charged. The attendant has to have hours and at least one answer before the line can be turned on.

Calls, transcripts, blocks, notices

Calls lists each call once the line is live, with the transcript. Blocks is the list of numbers that should not be answered. Notices is the in-desk list for new calls, number requests, and help replies. The menu shows an unread count.

The chat widget

Open Chat widget, copy the script, and paste it on your site. It answers from the knowledge base. Before the plan is started, written replies are limited so the line cannot run away. After you start Chat, or after a voice plan is billed, the monthly cap on the pricing page applies. Chat has no phone line and is charged when you start the plan, not at signup.

Help inside the desk

Log in, open Help, and write what you need. The note stays on the account with the others you have sent. That is the support desk. There is no separate ticket website.
